Join Me in Supporting Changing Pathways or Your Local Domestic Abuse Charity
I warmly welcome anyone who wishes to join me in supporting Changing Pathways or their local domestic abuse charity.
However, please note the following important points to ensure everything runs smoothly and respectfully:
Permission and Accountability:
You are personally responsible for obtaining permission from your chosen charity to fundraise on their behalf. You must also ensure that all donations are handled transparently.
Fundraising Platform:
All funds should be raised through justgiving (or a similar official platform), ensuring donations go directly to the charity and not through you. This is essential for transparency and accountability.
Travel and Accommodation:
You will need to make your own arrangements to get to Blackpool on the day, and ensure you have a place to stay if you’re unable to return home that night.
Respect and Conduct:
Please be respectful and supportive of the cause and the efforts being made. This is an important initiative, and I ask that all participants uphold the dignity of the event.
Communication and Consent:
You must inform me in advance if you wish to participate, keep in regular contact, and allow me to share your involvement and your donation page on my platforms to help spread awareness.
Safety First:
You must commit to ensuring that your actions do not put myself, my carers, or any marshals at risk in any way.
If you’re happy with all of the above and would like to get involved, please feel free to contact me using the details below, and we’ll take it from there.
